The most important thing to consider when buying any outdoor lights is the IP Rating of the fitting. In short, the higher the number the more protected the light is from the elements. So What’s An Integrated Light?

Almost all light fittings can have LED bulbs retrofitted to them as long as the bases match. Integrated LED lights are designed from the ground up to use LEDs, and therefore can take advantage of all their best features. This is why the Cuba has such a fun light feature and why it can rotate. LEDs aren’t bound by the same design constraints as traditional bulbs, or even LEDs made to look like traditional bulbs.

You also don’t need to worry about finding (and replacing!) your LEDs with bulbs. Once they’re wired into the mains, they’ll provide you with lovely bright light for years to come!

One of the most instantly noticeable features of any LED light is just how bright they are. Because LEDs are so much more efficient than their counterparts- only 10% of their energy is spent on heat and all this heat can be safely dissipated thanks to advanced heat sinks. As a result, you get a lot of lumens for each watt.

This is great wherever you put your lights, but it’s even better for outside lighting, because this brightness can pierce even very dark corners. This can make your home more secure, as burglars are less likely to target well-lit homes.

As an added bonus, integrated lights tend to squeeze out even more lumens for the amount of watts they consume and generate even less heat!

Integrated lights make for ideal outdoor lights, as you don’t need to trudge out into the cold and wet to constantly replace broken bulbs. LEDs already last for a very long time, and Integrated LEDs last even longer still!
