The NeoPower Non-Dimmable 60W Constant Voltage LED Driver from WLED is a no-nonsense way of providing adequate power for your low voltage LED lights.

It’s a perfect option for small to medium lengths of LED strip light, with a maximum load of 60W. Although it can go up to this amount of power without any fuss, we would recommend leaving a tolerance of 10%, so that the longevity of both your lights and the driver is ensured.

The other good thing is that it is available in both 12v and 24v variants, so you’ll be able to run double the length of 24v LED tape compared to 12v tape.

Coming in with an IP67 rating too, it’s protected from splashes of water from pretty much any direction, making it suitable for bathrooms and kitchens.

Unfortunately, this driver cannot dim down your LED lights.

The main benefit of using LED lights over other types of lighting is that LEDs use a lot less energy to provide the same level of light - to put this into numbers, LEDs use approximately 90% less energy than halogens, and 50% less than CFLs, or “energy savers” as they’re also known.

Firstly, one of the reasons they use less energy is because they are far more efficient at converting electricity into light, with far less heat wastage. This means that LEDs run a lot cooler and are safer as a result.

Not only that, but because of their lower temperatures, there is also far less wear and tear going through the internal components. This gives them longer lifespans, so you end up spending less on replacement bulbs.
